  • SERVICES | SaltWaterDesignGroup

Design, Build, & Remodel Salt Water Design Group is a full-service design/build firm that is there with you every phase of the remodeling process with our approved contractors. With a streamlined approach, we design and manage the entire process. When you schedule your consultation, now offering both in-person or virtual meetings, we spend 1 hour to discuss your options about design, timing, and budget requirements. Before the design process begins, a retainer is required that is specific to each project. Below you will see a simplified step-by-step process that serves as an example when working with Salt Water Design Group. 1. Consultation and Design In phase one, after interviewing the client we first assess their needs, then begin thinking of layouts, materials, and exploring design ideas. This allows us to create a conceptual plan with an outlined budget. In addition, prices and fees will be discussed during this process. 3. Execution and Construction 2. Layouts and Materials After measurements are taken and the design is drafted, we start to make our conceptual plans into more detailed blueprints for construction . During this period, exploratory construction begins to see if all design elements are feasible. This phase also includes the client and designer selecting materials. A contract is signed before continuing on to construction. Rough construction and ordering materials will begin at this phase. There are always challenges in the remodeling process, however, we are here to help with unexpected surprises and find the best solutions to keep moving forward. 4. Finishing Touches After the demolition and rough construction are finished and once the drywall is complete, all of the final pieces start coming together . This is the phase where cabinets, appliances, counters, faucets, and hardware will be installed. Once all the major materials are in place, we install the final details. When the project is 98% complete, we walk through the space with the client to make sure everything is in order. 5. Sit Back and Relax Phase five is all about the client. Time for you to sit back, open a bottle of wine, and enjoy your beautiful new space as it always was meant to be.
